As the girls finish their Greatest Hits tour, the band thanked all of their fans for their support over 10 years and confirmed that the show at the Liverpool Echo on Wednesday's March 20th marked "the end of our incredible time together".Having started in 2002, the band released 5 new albums, had 2 greatest hits compilations and 22 singles over their career - 20 of them being in the top ten.
The five girls include Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts.
The band got back together as many others have for the 12-date UK tour after spending three years on semi successful solo careers. Six more dates were added to the initial list after huge demand from fans throughout the country.
The greatest hits album Ten entered the charts at number nine when it was released in December 2012.
The tweet said: "Dear Alouders, we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!!
